“The guys from Glasgow Collective, they had an architect. They then hired a builder, dealt with all the planning permission and any structural issues and all the rest of it [adaptation of the building]. So, we've had nothing to do with any of the complexity of it, but we have influenced the space, which is really nice.”

“On a Tuesday night, we have [a get-together called 'Unbound'], and do some creative stuff together music-making, that kind of thing. And so there's a real mixed bag of people, will come on a Tuesday evening. Some folks who like work in criminal justice, so folks who study it, some folks who've been in prison and are now out. Like a real mix of people. So it's this kind of community gathering, I guess.”

“We actually ran a little campaign [called 'An Open Door'] to try and get enough money together to do the move, which [...] was all about having an open door and being accessible.”

“So ironically though, we do keep the shutter down quite a lot of the time, just because it is so open that like, you just get random people walking in all the time, and we'd never get any work done. Because we're not running it as a drop-in. So trying to sort of manage ....”

“We've got a back door as well, so anyone who knows us can come around the back and ring the doorbell, so... it is relatively accessible. And to be fair, anyone could knock on the window and just get us to pull the shutter up at any point.”

“The security in here, everyone needs to be quite on it, just because of the... as a part of town, it's very, very, very mixed […] This [area] is honestly like the threshold between all the worlds that we kind of intersect. It's like, there's a music scene here [...] Lodging House Mission and the Salvation Army around the corner. There's a needle exchange up the road. You know, it's easy enough to walk from town, if you're like, coming to visit us for a business partnership meeting. It's a real, like intersection sort of in-between space.”
