“This place has a specific quality, they gave us workspaces, a dressing room, they gave us a code, and we can work as we want, that is to say we are autonomous during working hours. We have the key to set the alarm. If we want, we can work all night. It is extremely rare today, a place that leaves artists with autonomy, a real trust in artists.”

“This place was created by an artist, and it shows. There aren't many places dedicated to dance, and that is why this place is extremely precious. It is dedicated to dance: it is very rare, and it is very necessary. Because… you can't dance without volume. You go looking for space outdoors, but having a dedicated space is super important.”

“The great thing about it is that there is time dedicated to public encounter. In addition, the place has done a lot of awareness raising, people come, they are curious about that. And it’s great also to have a place without any interface with the public. It's not just stimulation the whole time. At some point you have to take time for yourself. This is what is precious. An artist is nourished by everyday life: when I walk, when I see people, that is my stimulation. There I can go in, I can warm up, I can have a place where things just come up.”

“Strictly, we’re just two permanent employees, and otherwise it works with the intermittent [freelance] system. And so with this system it depends on the project. On this project it’s 6 intermittent.”
